Not sure what to say?

Deepest condolences from the Hunt family, Laura, Ken, and Bill. Our parents, Jean and Ken were longtime friends. Doris and Kenny were wonderful people who we always looked forward to seeing. It was nice to know that our parents had such good friends throughout their lives, and especially in their later years. Peace and love to all....

My mom, Doris was a good mom. With six kids to raise, she was very present in all of our lives. She also loved her grandkids and her home was always a welcoming place for everyone. RIP mom. We all poved you and will miss you. Say hello to dad and give him hugs from me. Sue

I am very sorry to hear Doris has passed away. I will always be grateful for her love and kindness especially to her Grandsons Matthew and Andrew.. My sincere condolences to the MacNichol Family and All that loved her. Rest in Paradise Mrs. MacNichol You will be missed..

Karen I went to O´Keefe school with you and remember you looking just like your Mom. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Doris's Obituary

Doris L. (Price) MacNichol passed in her sleep on November 15, 2024 after a long, healthy, fulfilling life at the age of 93.  She was the youngest daughter of Frank and Emily (Gorski) Price, leaving her only surviving sibling of 10, Frank Price.  Doris was proud of her Irish and Polish Heritage.  She was a lifelong Lynner, graduating from Lynn Classical. Working in the downtown area, she was a petite, green eyed beautiful blonde, met Ken, tall, dark and handsome.  After marrying her one true love, they settled in Lynn.  They raised 6 children and enjoyed their lives until Ken passed one week after celebrating 65 years of togetherness.  Doris loved being a mother, cherished her grandchildren and spending time with family.  She loved her home and could always be found outside tending to her flowers or in the winter, curled up with a good book.  After raising the family, Ken and Doris purchased their own business, Eastern Steel Shank Inc. in the once flourishing shoe industry.  Working together, they were proud of this accomplishment.  Later in life, Doris spent several years at the Brudnick Nursing Facility receiving wonderful care.   She leaves her daughter Karen and Frank Federico, sons Kenneth B. MacNichol and Kathy, Steven MacNichol and Pat, William MacNichol and Trish, daughters Maureen Susan (Sue) Webster, Kathy Delisle, over 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – noon and burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
