I always admired Aunt Doris. She was always smartly dressed and took good care of herself. She was a straight-shooter in conversation and you always knew where she stood. She loved good preaching and the Gaithers' music. The love of her life was her family and she would spend hours talking about them-- Stephen, Sandra and all the GRANDS were her preferred topics of conversation. She gave great hugs. My one thing I always think about Doris was when I would see her and Jay walking at the mall and could never catch up with her.
I always thought, what the heck!!
It was such a blessing to have known her. She was quite a character!

I remember Doris as a very kind lady. I worked in the mall and she came in to shop or look around and visit as she did her walk. I am sorry for your loss. Debbie
