RIP Doris From the day I met her, she always had a smile on her face and nothing but kind, loving words to say. I have no doubt she is an inspiration and role model to many, including her family and grandchildren! RIP Doris! You loved and will always be loved by so many. I knew Doris through the friendship of our children, Scott and Stephanie, in grade school at Wolf Building. She portrayed the essence of a loving person. Doris was a devoted mother who later told me that she had her adult children and their families over for Sunday dinners, and that was her joy. Obituary

Doris's Obituary

Her room was ready, God called her home on August 9, 2025. She was 82 years old. She was the loving wife and soulmate of Alfred Reimer for 63 years, married on April 14, 1962. She was the daughter of the late William J. Roberts, Jr., and Wilma (Muhr) Roberts. She graduated from Northampton High School, class of 1960 and Bethlehem Business College. She worked for NASD for 30 years, the last 12 years in accounts payable, retiring in July 2006. She was a member of Trinity E.C. Church, Berlinsville. She served her Lord in various ways, Sunday School Teacher, pianist, missions.

Doris is survived by her awesome, priceless husband, Al. She was the proud, loving mother of two wonderful, precious sons and their great wives, Scott A. and wife Robin, Greg W. and wife Pamela; Five beautiful dearly loved grandchildren, Braylynn and fiancé, David Switzer, Kelsey and companion, James, Shianne and companion, Ethan, Lindsay and Cody. She loved her Lord, Church, traveling, bus trips, Sunday suppers, everyday life shared with her family. They shared many blessings and great joys.

Services: family and friends may call on Friday August 15th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St. Northampton. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Howertown. The family is welcoming casual attire for the funeral services.  Online condolences may be submitted below.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northampton Area Food Bank in loving memory of Doris.
