Our heartfelt condolences to you in the loss of your mom. I remember Doris from Lakeview Foods ~ She always had a warm smile and a kind face. God bless your Mom and all of you.

So sorry for your loss. I will always recall how patient and kind Doris was while working at the OLD Lakeview Foods back in the 70's. I was just a young teenager working his first job and Doris would always make me feel like what I did mattered. I will never forget that. Eternal blessings!

Doris's Obituary

Doris J. Riniker, 84, of West Salem passed away on April 29, 2018 at Mulder Health Care Facility. She is survived by son; Mark (Lynn), daughters; Janet Benz (Bruce Meyer) and Linda Starkey, brother; John (Patty) Heishman and ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Doris is preceded in death by parents; Wayne and Dorothy, husband; George, brother; Don, daughter; Carol and grandson; Christopher.   Doris was born January 23, 1934 in Brooklyn, Iowa to Wayne and Dorothy (Lyman), the oldest of three children. Doris treasured her time with family and friends and enjoyed the lifelong friendships she made through the Gills Coulee Homemakers, as well as her many years working at Lakeview Foods. The family would like to thank the staff at Mulder Health Care Facility for their kindness and wonderful care. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 4th at the Presbyterian Church in West Salem. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Larry Olson will officiate. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse.
