Doris Mae (Tee) Rogers went from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 19, 2026. She was the first of seven children born to the late Joseph and Annie Noel Rogers. She was born unable to hear nor speak. Tee had a profound love for children. She would care for the family and the neighborhood children while their parents worked. The best babysitter ever. She loved to play dominos, dance and attend family gatherings. She found joy in making others laugh. No one was a stranger to her. Tee was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, three brothers and a nephew; her nieces and nephews that made her be "Aunt Tee", Shelia Maloy, Debra Green, Betty Cooper, LaShawn Johnson, Osar Rogers, Rena Steadman, Gerald Rogers, Christopher Rogers, Angela Brookins, Krystal Brookins, Shayla Stevenson and Zina Perkins, other relatives and friends.
