Not sure what to say?

Dear Dick and the Van Driest family.

My most sincere condolances at your loss and the closing of another chapter in the medical history of Sheboygan. Without the support of a loving wife, your Dad would have been limited in his medical successes. She imparted her values into her children which is witnessed in your characters and successes.
I am certain the Lord has not only shared his blessed gaze on her but surrounded her with the love of all those who have proceeded her.

My heart goes out to the Van Driest family in the death of Doris Van Driest, their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I don't know her very well, but I have enjoyed being around her whenever possible. She was a wonderful mother-in-law to my sister Leah and a great grandma to my niece Carey! You all are blessed with good memoris of her.

Pam and I extend our sympathy to Dick and Teena and all the Van Driest family. Doris was a wonderful lady and I have fond memories of her loving and sometimes lighthearted kindness to me and all of my contemporaries who were friends of Dick and Peter.
I happened across internet information about Peter and Leah's daughter Carey Van Driest and learned a bit about the wonderful career she is having as an actress and singer. I remember her singing so beautifully at Dr. John's...

Doris was like a second mother to the Stewart clan. She was such an instrumental part of our lives. Through John, Doris met our parents and the rest as they say is history. Doris was a part of our parents' wedding and every monumental event thereafter. She was our mother's best friend.

Doris' joie de vivre was infectious and why everyone wanted to be around her. Always happy, so kind and generous. If only we could all be like her.

And let's not forget, her rich...
