Dorothy was a sweet gentle woman I have known for over 50 years. Since working together at Friendly's when I was a teenager and she took me under her wing. She was also dear to my 18 year old son who she also looked out for. She will be missed. I will be praying for all of you.

I am so, so sorry for your loss! Dorothy ( I know she liked to be called Dorothy but I still think of her in my mind as Dottie) was such a big part of my families life. My parents were John and Rose Troiano, and Dorothy and Joe and my parents were together so much, doing so many things together whether square dancing or going to concerts, or just hanging out on the porch or going to Friendlys. I knew them through all their times together and I loved Dorothy and Joe. Thinking of Dorothy...

Dorothy was one of my favorite customers that I delivered prescriptions to from Rite Aid pharmacy in Agawam. she always had a smile and a warm greeting for me whenever I saw her. She was truly a delight. The world would be a far better place, if we had more people like her. She will be remembered fondly by everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
