Me & Gram out back Uncle Franks

Gram I love u more then words can say...my God I'm gonna miss u like the flowers miss the rain. I never had a bad time with u. I'll never forget our trips to Jersey to visit Jan, see all ur old houses, & visiting the pennsauken mart...I loved it!!! I'm proud to be one of ur clones! U really were one of the strongest survivor women I've ever known & always ready to give or do whatever was in ur power for all of us. I love u Gram!!!

Here I am mom. I will stand strong today .Just for you. Now fly away to your family. I love you forever mom. Love your daughter Paula.

Dorothy's Obituary

Dorothy M. Slaper passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Laurel Brooks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Mount Laurel, NJ at the age of 79.

Born and raised in Camden, NJ, daughter of the late Florence May (Johnson) and John Henry Jones, Mrs. Slaper has been a Lower Bucks County resident for many years.

She was formerly employed with the Campbell Soup Company for several years.

Dorothy will be remembered as someone who gave of herself, but most important to her was the love she had for her entire family.

Beloved wife of Michael A. Slaper, Dorothy is the loving mother of Frank Buchanan (Mary), John Buchanan (Gail), Paula Flood (Ron), Paul Slimm and John Jones (Pam).

She is the devoted grandmother of 10 and proud great grandmother of 17.

Dorothy will also be sadly missed by her life long best friend, Jan.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Johnny and great granddaughter, Claudia.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
