Thinking of and praying for Doug's family and friends. I was blessed to meet Doug through Edward Jones when he started. I have stayed in contact with Doug over the years whether it be a business conversation, a personal one, or a hunting story. Doug always had a smile and a positive attitude. He was always proud to share his faith and usually turned our conversation to something that related to it biblically. He always asked about how my family was doing and I believe he truly cared...

I am saddened to hear about Doug! I graduated with him and he was ALWAYS the life of the party!! He was a kind and gentle soul with an infectious smile! Love and prayers to those he left behind. May the Lord be close to you ALL!!

Doug was such a special jewel of a man. It was always a joy to be with Doug, to listen to him. Quickly you’d know what a big heart he had for you, others, and most importantly his God. Doug entertained us with his stories. Made us laugh. Made us feel loved. Shared his love of Christ and acknowledged his blessings. He often did for others, gave to others. He in the past and recently called me his brother, he certainly was brother to me.
