Had the pleasure of working with Doug as an outside contractor to Accurrom USA. He really knew how to make a person smile and laugh. Prayers to family and friends.

He was a genuinely good man, I always felt like I was having a real conversation with him when we spoke. One of my favorite people to chat with when I would see him out. I'm very sorry for the family's loss.

Doug attended Monterey Baptist Church and was a graduate of Franklin County High School. He retired from Accuromm USA Inc., where he dedicated years of service as a maintenance supervisor. Doug enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and took great pride in grilling and smoking meat for family and friends. He generously shared his time and talents by cooking and volunteering with the Mothers of Brothers Anderson County football boosters. Above all, Doug’s greatest joy in life was his grandchildren, who were truly the light of his life.

Along with his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Ellen Bailey.
