Not sure what to say?

We will miss this man of many talents; gregarious, generous, passionate and a friend to so many. He was my neighbor on Fenwick St and also, later, in Fort Lauderdale. And he could cook, too

My heart goes out to all of Doug's friends and loved ones. He was a lovely man. We were all enriched by knowing him and are saddened by his loss.

Doug will be missed. We will always remember when you and Brian babysat..."I don't want to be a pirate!" Shouted Chandler. That is still a saying in our home, 20 years later. You are a kind, gentle man. Peace.

I have this feeling there's one more star up in the sky tonight. And even though it's far away, its brightness and warmth still reach us here to make the night a little less dark.

Remembering all of the great times with the Chucks and parties in DC.

Doug - you will be sorely missed. I so enjoyed our times together. You and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Mr and Mrs Nannah and Cheryl. Doug was truly a wonderful man he could make me laugh, make me think and would do anything for you.

There are moments in time when there are no words that can comfort pain and sorrow. I am saddened to say goodbye to such a wonderful childhood friend. Cheri and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Doug was such a good person and a great friend all through high school. We had fun times running around together. My deepest sympathy goes out to Mr. & Mrs. Nannah and Cheryl.

Sending our condolences to Doug's family and friends. We were neighbors with Doug during his many years on Fenwick Street in Arlington, and have wonderful memories to keep in our hearts, like lazy days on the river with Little Toot, roller coaster rides at Six Flags, and Wednesday night bowling league. We will miss his thoughtful friendship, his warm smile, and his big strong hugs. Love, Bruce and Dan
