I met Doug in 1978 when we were both members of the Order of the Arrow, which is part of the Boy Scouts of America. For as long as I knew him, Doug was always willing, ready and able to help others. Our friendship lasted over 40 years, and I considered him to be part of our family. Doug attending many of our children's sporting events, graduation parties, etc. He was a true and loyal friend, and I will miss him.
