Douglas Howard Hurlbutt

Really enjoyed him as a teacher and later in life reading about his historical research around the town of Bundy and Pine Lake.

I worked with Doug during the 1997-1998 school year at Rhinelander High School. Even though I was only with the district for one year Doug was willing to keep in touch that blossomed into a friendship that extended beyond time. Doug was kind, informative, humorous and generous. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ comfort wife Karen and Son Rob as Doug would share how proud he was of both of them when he and I would interact.
