Andrew D. Peloubet

Rev. Dr. Andrew D. Peloubet, 85, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Catskill, NY, on December 13, 1939, he was a son of the late Severine and Harriett (Clark) Peloubet. He received his GED in 1958, and became a postman. On June 28, 1958, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Patricia Ann Jackson. She passed away on January 9, 2022. Together they enjoyed 63 years traveling the world on cruises. In his 30s, God called Andrew into ministry. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from King's College in 1980 and a Master's Degree from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY, in 1982. He received his Doctorate in 1994 from Anderson Seminary. He started as an assistant Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church and then became the Pastor of Cold Spring Baptist Church in Cold Spring, NY. He went on to become a Senior Chaplain for the NYSDOCS at Mid-State Correctional Facility. After retiring, he served as the Pastor at Ilion Baptist Church in Ilion, NY. Andrew is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Scott (Timothy) and Renee Peloubet Bledsoe (Bert); five granddaughters, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
