I was one of Doug's first ballet students when he opened his studio in Lexington. It was wonderful as a small town high school student to work with him not only learning classical dance from a professional, but experiencing his international style and knowledge. He added further to my growing curiosity to travel the world. He would come in to the studio dressed in black with elegant movement, talking about spending the weekend on a tractor at his family farm...such a...

I have no words at this time. We were married once and I loved his family. Great times were passed in my house in the South of France.

Douglas Everhart was such a fabulous Gentleman in every way - especially working with us on our Ancient Carolina Dog Project - so interested, so encouraging, so thoughtful - Jack & Julie came from our litters - he loved them so - their puppies are winning Championships in every venue - Douglass was so proud of them - he was always there for us - giving us his valuable time to discuss how to go forward with this project - almost 30 years - he has had so much to do with these doggies’ amazing...
