Not sure what to say?

Dr. Charles had, and continues to have, a profound impact on our lives. He lived life to the fullest, achieving countless accomplishments and inspiring everyone around him. His unwavering support and encouragement meant the world to my husband and me. Dr. Charles always had the best humor and advice, brightening even the toughest days. We will miss him deeply and will carry his memory in our hearts, honoring him in all that we do.
Madeline; My deepest condolences to you during this...

Dear Madalyn, grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. We're so sorry for your loss, we've just found out. We had just seen Charles and family at the restaurant the week between Christmas and New year. He was joyful and proud to be with them and looked happy. He was full of knowledge and opinion, which was always good for a good discussion.
He will be greatly missed. May He rest in God's grace.

Wonderful man. Will be missed

It was always good seeing Charles in recent years at the beauty shop we all used. Always fun chatting with him. Did not realize he had so many degrees. A true scholar and gentleman. We will all miss him as I know all of you will also.
Sorry we could not attend services. Dave and Carolyn Bain

We met Charles last year when he was staying with our friends Stuart & Cheryl in England. He came to our house to watch a football(soccer) match & share a meal with us . He was an amazing man , so brilliant & interesting & unassuming. It was a privilege to meet him .

Dr. Alworth will certainly be missed! I enjoyed seeing him twice a year for the last twenty five when he would come the the TU Drilling Research Advisory Board meetings, where he would always save me the seat right next to him so we could catch up, but had random correspondence with him throuought the year checking in with me and sending me his favorite memes.

On his trip last fall to England, he emailed me after receiving an email from me letting me know he was in England...

Spent many hours working with Charles on the Tulsa University Drilling research project. He was someone I truly admired and enjoyed working with. Looked forward every year to meeting up with him at the advisory board meetings. Charles was one of the most knowledgeable electronics and control engineers I have ever known. I learned many things from him. He will not be forgotten.

We met Charles 20 years ago whilst living in Tyler. He remained a good friend and a frequent visitor to our home in England where he and Madeline were always welcome. We will miss our long conversations solving the worlds problems over a glass of port and good stilton. A scholar and a true gentleman we will all sadly miss.

Wonderful man who had lived a fulfilled and adventurous life. Always there with a helping hand for others. I will truly miss our conversations!
