Not sure what to say?

Dr. David Gowder was a great doctor, boss and Sunday school teacher. I was grateful to work with him and thankful for his teaching in Sunday school. I am so grateful for his gift as a doctor. While he was over the ER, he diagnosed my mother, in turn allowed us to have more years with her than we would have. Working in David's office, was the best. There was lots of laughter, prayer and compassion. It was my favorite job and truly felt like a family! Our hearts are heavy and sad for Lita,...

I’m so very sorry. Keeping you and your family in prayer and with love. Susie Holcomb Gantt, Marietta Ga.

My memories of working with Dr. David are some of my fondest memories. I’m grateful I was blessed with the opportunity to work with him. He taught me a lot and I can truly say that was my favorite job. Lots of fun and laughter at the office! My heart is heavy and sad for Lita and the family. Prayers continue

I am so sorry to hear that Dr. Gowder passed away. I thought he was a great man. I enjoyed being his pastor at Antioch Baptist Church. I send my prayers to Lita and all the family.

Dear Lita and family, Brett and I remember your family fondly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you remember, celebrate his life and grieve as a family. Blessings to you all!!

Our first exposure with Dr Gowder was my husband in the ER upon our first arrival in 2004. He was kind and compassionate. His daughter, Sarah, treated me in 2010-11 in PT and followed soon after with Dr Gowder back in the ER (for myself). He was kind with a great sense of humor as he treated me. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones he goes ahead of during this difficult time of loss. May you be comforted in the wonderful memories he leaves with you all.

Our prayers for Gods great comfort to this precious family.

I will always remember Dr. David for his honesty, strength, and straightforward wisdom. He was the kind of man who spoke the truth plainly, but always with purpose and conviction. Even when life took us in different directions, the respect I had for him never faded. He lived with sincerity and a strong sense of what was right, leaving an impression that won’t be forgotten.

My heart goes out to you all. You are such an amazing family, a true reflection of his love, values, and...
