How grateful I am to have had the chance to know Dr. Harrell. My deepest condolences to his family. I am sure that he will be held up for years to come as a shining example of what one individual can do for his fellow man, and of the role a professional should strive to play in society. What a beautiful legacy he has left behind in his children and grandchildren!

As a young girl, my Mama saw Dr. Harrell almost all her young life into adulthood. She thought there was no one like him. One day when she came in he asked her what kind of filling she wanted in her tooth. She replied, "Chocolate will be fine." He loved that response and they had a long laugh. He was such a wonderful man. Peace and love to the family.
