Not sure what to say?

Very devastated. Will surely miss seeing you walk the halls at Mercy. Most certainly a hero!

I had the honor of rooming with Maddy in Rolla when she was taking classes to prepare for med school. Maddy was always kind, always engaging, and always quick to smile or laugh. My condolences to her family on in this incredibly difficult time.

I use to love visiting with Madalyn any time she was home at John & Norleen’s while I was there for a drop off, fitting or pick up

She was always dedicated to her studies, swimming and anything else going on in her life

She was an exceptionally intelligent bright light in the home ❣

Friend of Nancy.

Madalyn is my first cousin, Norleen’s daughter.
Very sorry for a life ended too soon. God had bigger plans for you with him. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Let your light shine!

My prayers are with you as you go through this most difficult time. Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. May you find peace in His presence knowing there is eternal joy awaiting.

So very proud of my Neice, her accomplishments, adventures attitude & loving spirit. You will be in my heart forever. Love Aunt Nancy

I have known Maddie since she was in our girl scout troop in grade school. We always connected. Smart, loving, kind and inquisitive, Maddie was a bright light in this world. I am incredibly sorrowful that this bright light has moved on. She had just completed medical school and would have been the kind of doctor every patient hopes to get. Always in my heart ❤

Obituary

Dr. Madalyn's Obituary

Dr. Madalyn Nicole Elliott, 33, of Chesterfield, MO, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2025.

She was born April 16, 1992, in St. Louis, MO, to John and Norleen (Drebes) Elliott (deceased 2025).  Madalyn graduated high school from Westminster Christian Academy in 2010. She went on to Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla where she earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. While at S&T, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority, Tau Beta Pi engineering honors society and the cross country and track teams.

Madalyn went on to A.T. Still University where she became a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. She was in her last year of residency in internal medicine. Madalyn was an incredible physician-in-training and was looking forward to a career in medicine.

Madalyn was a loving sister to Megan Elliott (deceased 2001) and Melissa (Trenton) Lauer of Tucson, AZ.  She was also loved and cherished by her two nieces: Claire and Emma Lauer.

Compassion and loyalty are two words that sum up Madalyn. She certainly loved her village well and went above and beyond to show how much she cared. Being an aunt was one of her favorite roles in life, and she excelled as evident by the title of “my buddy” bestowed upon her by Claire.

Madalyn loved snow skiing, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and embracing her adventurous spirit. This year, she got to share her life with boyfriend Alex Ernst (deceased 2025) with whom she found much joy and love.

Services:  Friends and Family are invited to a visitation to celebrate Madalyn's life at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, Ballwin, Friday May 16, 2025, from 4-7pm.  A funeral service will be held at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church, 15037 Clayton Rd, Chesterfield, on Saturday May 17, 2025, at 10am and Pastor Hugh Barlett will officiate. Interment will follow at Bellerive Cemetery.  If desired, contributions may be made to Chesterfield Presbyterian Church.  Friends may sign the family’s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
