Not sure what to say?

Mark Lega was a "teacher's teacher". 10 of my 11 children were lucky enough to experience one or more of his classes at Holy Cross High School. His generosity knew no bounds. He sponsored my children in sports that they might not otherwise have been able to afford. Group of 10 Memorial Trees

Mark was a dear friend of my late husband, Marty Napper. They taught together for years at Holy Cross. They traveled often to Washington D.C. with students. Mark also taught my son, Blake. Mark & Marty were quite a pair together. They had a great friendship.
Mark was a wonderful teacher and friend to the Napper family.

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was a blessing to us at St. Martha. A wonderful teacher and friend.

Mark was just like part of our family. We will miss him so much.

Mark was a very nice man and talented educator. I worked with him using our campus technologies like Moodle. He was always so congenial. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family in this loss. I still cannot believe he is gone as I just spoke with him beginning of the fall semester.

Mark was wonderful to work with at St. Martha.

The Department of History and Political Science at Bellarmine University extends its sincere condolences to Mark’s family and friends.

Mark was a dedicated educator and valued colleague. He joined our department as an instructor in 2014, after retiring from Holy Cross High School. He was ever a cheerful presence in the department and was fondly regarded by his students and colleagues. He was always willing to step in and help when we had a problem finding faculty to cover our...
