Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of Dr Shoen’s passing. I worked with him for many years at St Mary’s Hospital and found him to be quite personable and always shared his medical knowledge in a manner that was understandable and appropriate to whatever the topic was. We served on several committees together and his expertise was a guiding force in much of our deliberations and decisions. My sincere and heartfelt condolences and prayers for his family and all who loved him. Sincerely Mar Romani

My prayers and heart is with you.

Tim always had a smile, an infectious laugh, a story to tell and a topic of great interest to talk about. His friendship with my late husband, Frank A Bersani Jr., began in childhood was a tribute to life long friendship, brotherhood and family. As the two have now been reunited may they spend eternity reminiscing.

I regret I am unable to attend the services to honor Tim.

My most sincere condolences to the entire family.

I first met Tim in the late 1980's when he was part of a young and vibrant Emergency Room staff working the night shift at Saratoga Hospital. He and his family eventually moved into the neighborhood where my family lived and I would often have great conversations with Tim when we would run into each other walking our dogs behind Siro's Restaurant. He was simply a terrific guy, a man who was devoted to his family, his patients and his community. My deepest sympathies to his family and to all...

Great guy and doctor. Enjoyed hanging out with him while playing softball on his softball team in a local men's league. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers to the Shoen family. I knew many of them from Syracuse in the late 60's. Always remembered Tim with a smile.

I met Tim in 1987 as we were beginning our careers in Emergency Medicine. He was instrumental in starting our fledgling company, Saratoga Emergency Physicians, PC. The challenges and roller coaster events we experienced helped forge a close friendship. We went through tough life events, and he helped support me and I him. In more recent years our lives and careers took us in different directions, and unfortunately we drifted apart. I was thankful we recently reconnected, and I had the...

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” – Hunter S. Thompson
I remember him sharing this with me, as only he could deliver wordsI’m happy our paths crossed and for the good fortune of knowing you. You’ve hit that Home Run and are now Safe at Home Base, Dear Boss, Dear Mentor,...

I worked with Dr. Shoen in the Emergency Dept for years. His combination of intelligence, humor and his uncanny ability to read people was not only an education it was also entertaining. After retiring I would see him around town and I always enjoyed our visits. I will miss seeing him. I hope Dr. Shoen’s family will find comfort in the memories they have and also knowing Dr. Shoen helped many people in their time of need.
