Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My deepest sympathy to you, Dolores. I will always remember Bill as the funloving guy who would always call me "smiley". Those weeks when you all were here at your home away from home was always my favorite time at la Vista. It will be a bit emptier now.. Big hug

I didn’t play ball for Coach Sproule and had only brief encounters, but one meeting remains with me to this day. I was sharing a dorm room with one of his football players when one night while I was studying, he knocked on our door and I was quite surprised when I opened the door to see the Head Football Coach standing in my doorway. He was stopping by to see if my roommate was putting in time studying to keep his grades up. My roommate was, of course, out and not likely at the library...

Dolores, sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Feel blessed to have known the both of you. Will keep you in my prayers.

Rest in peace Bill! You were a good man and coach. You made a difference in so many ways. I played quarterback for you at Bloomsburg during your head coach assignments. I always appreciated your thoughtfulness and compassion. You were a thinker. You will be missed. God bless you. Thank you for the memories. Joe Geiger

My deepest condolences to the Sproule family. Coach Bill Sproule was my football coach at Bloomsburg State College, and I will always remember him as a true gentleman and a positive influence on my college years. He pushed me to be my best on the field, but was always there with support when I needed it most.

One memory stands out above all: during my senior year, I needed to pass a swimming test to graduate. Coach noticed my struggle, quietly pulled me aside, and took the time to...

Sincere condolence to the Sproule family on the loss of Bill. As a former member of the Alma Mater Coaldale, I looked up to him in his playing days and I interacted with him while he was coaching at Bloomsburg. May he rest in peace.

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS LOVE TO THE FAMILY

Bill - We love you. Your productive life is recognized and appreciated. Rest in peace and celebrate your joyful reunion with Jesus, Joanne, Mom, Dad and all of our departed family and friends in heaven.

God be with your family!

Sincerely,
A Grateful American
