Not sure what to say?

Mt Whitney 2009

I made a new friend yesterday who reminded me of Mark and made me look up how I Hate Duane Mark is doing. So sad to find this and we will be praying for Heather and the kids. I didnt even get a lot of years to spend with Mark but what years I knew him we did a lot of stuff; fly fishing, backpacking, leading worship at horizon, recording in adelanto, building a room addition in LA, I slept on his couch one night and woke up to be locked out of my car and used his AAA to get in so I could get...

I knew Mark N Heather when they attended our tiny church in Victorville California. I thoroughly enjoyed Mark leading worship. When I told my husband of his passing, I didn’t expect him to remember him. But he did. He said, “I loved the way he sang amazing grace“. Later, when my daughter and granddaughter lived with us, Heather graciously babysat my granddaughter. Not like she didn’t have enough already, but she welcomed ours in as well. Times change and people move on, but this family...

I worked with Mark in the early 2000's when he was a young superintendent. We all knew his love of music. I was happy to hear that his dream became a reality. I absolutely loved his music and listened quite often. My heart breaks for his family. My prayers and love to Heather and the children.

So sorry to hear the news of Mark’s passing. We played together In Providence, R.I. and I’d planned on doing shows with him during SXSW in 2020 before COVID. We met exactly one time and yet I know we were friends. We stayed in touch through FB and I really enjoyed his music. May his family and friends find comfort in the months and year ahead. -Matt York

Heather I prayed for Mark everyday and your sweet family. I will continue to pray for y’all . I remember when Marks parents brought Him home from the hospital. He so cute and the sweetest little guy. I am sorry that we weren’t close. Life happens but know that y’all have been in my heart ❤ and prayers . I look forward to seeing Mark again in heaven
