Dustin's Obituary

Dustin Eric Waldrop, 49, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at UAB.

Memorial service will be Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Dozers and Demolition, 5736 Hwy 45 North, Columbus, MS 39705 with Bro. Ron Delgaldo officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home is entrusted with all arrangements.

Dustin was born May 6, 1976, in Wichita, Kansas, to Brenda Eagan Waldrop of Columbus, MS, and the late Dennis W. Waldrop. In addition to his father, Dennis Waldrop, Dustin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Eva Eagan, and Compie and Myrtle Waldrop.

Dustin is survived by his mother, Brenda Eagan Waldrop, brother- Ryan (Lucia) Waldrop, great aunt- Mary Jean Smith; aunt - Linda (Paul) Hebert; uncle- Joe (Amy) Waldrop; cousins- Nick (Brittany) Waldrop and their kids – Lucas and Tuff , Jesse (Jolene) Hebert and their kids- Jaelynn and Jonah, and Jamie (Jenni) Hebert and their kids - Ethan and Elijah, and many beloved friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Rippy, Jim Hawk, Tony Vernon, Chris Herring, Patrick Hayes, Phillip Dicicco, Justin Kelly, and Dean Bishop.

A special thank you to our angels here on Earth- Anna Katherine Rippy, Victoria Rhett Stockard, Miriam Delgaldo, Nicole Gutierrez, and Brittney Nickoles Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. In honor of our beloved Jon-Michael Northington, who was cured from brain cancer.
