I knew Dwight for more than 30 years as a coworker and friend. We first met during the 1st Gulf War in 1991, and he worked for me and with me on various defense projects both in and out of uniform since then. He always had a bright smile and welcoming words whenever we met. I am going to truly miss him

Dwight was like a big brother to make. I admired and respected him as such. He was a man who loved and cared about his family. He cared about people. As a Manager and Supervisor, he cared about the people who worked for him. He had a keen sense of keeping a happy and lively atmosphere even during times of distress and pressure. I will always remember him for his ability to bring people together and create a cohesive team and environment. I know all of us who knew Dwight and worked with him...

The man was so overwhelmed by Dwight's kindness. He told him, "Buddy you're the best friend I have." Eventually, the man moved to be closer to...

Dwight, although we lived distances apart we often thought of you and your family in the most loving way. The memories of you will live on forever. Your warmth, your smile, your cheerfulness and your loving kindness will never be forgotten. We love you dearly. May you rest in peace.

We will miss Dwight. We always enjoyed chatting with Dwight (and Bilko). Dwight and I shared so many opinions, laughs, and just plain goodness. We could have solved all the world’s problems if only the world would have listened to us.
Not only could one sense Dwight’s brave soul, but he was also a thoughtful, wise, gentle friend and neighbor. It is difficult to go pass his home and know we won’t be seeing him again in this world. So, until we meet again the next my...
