Hey daddy. I miss you so much. I will miss our talks and your support of me when I needed it. What am I gonna do without you.

Lynnie and Nakia, I am so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. Please know my prayers are with you and your entire family.
It was an honor to know him and I will always remember how kind he was to me when I worked at Warring School. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Hansen was a kind, loving man. He will be greatly missed. I will make sure that your grandsons continue to remember you. I know that you will be watching down on them and protecting them. I am glad that you were a part of my life. I will miss you deeply.

Lori, God bless you dear friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. I never had the opportunity of working with your dad, but I have always heard wonderful things about him. I will keep your family in prayer.

My prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I feel honored that I knew Earl. He was a great person and friend. He will be missed by many. I am fortunate to have some great memories of our friendship.

Cousin Earl was a kindhearted, generous person with great character and I will miss him deeply.

Earl's Obituary

Earl Orlando Hansen, Sr., 77, of Poughkeepsie, NY was called home to glory on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the River Valley Care Center. He was born February 4, 1936, in Poughkeepsie, the third child and second son of Roland Hansen and Katherine Douglas Hansen.Earl graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Air Force. He married Betty Jean Gatlin of Albuquerque, NM, who predeceased him on August 30, 1994. He was a beloved and successful supervisor at both IBM and the U.S. Post Office, where he worked for more than 30 years. In his free time, Earl enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing golf, chess, and spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his five children, Sonya Hansen of Moreno Valley, CA, Earl Hansen, Jr. of Poughkeepsie, Audrith (Lynny-Pooh) Hansen Ward of Poughkeepsie, Lori Hansen of Poughkeepsie, and Jennifer Hansen of Poughkeepsie; five grandchildren, Demond Huff, Nakia Hansen, Vanessa Goldson, Elijah Hansen and Jordan Hansen: and his sister, Carol Hansen Cejas of Portsmouth, VA. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Douglas Hansen.Calling hours will be held from 9:00AM until 11:00AM on Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Joseph J.
