VICTORIA - Earl Willie Ferdinhand Prince Sr., 88, of Victoria passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014. He was born September 5, 1926 in Victoria to the late Perry Prince and Florence Hardin Prince. He attended school in Mission Valley. He was an Army Veteran and a retired oilfield truck driver for Heldt Brothers Trucking Company in Victoria. He is survived by daughters: Sherilyn Shelton of Victoria, Doris Prince of Victoria, and Marilyn "Sue" Hopes of Lancaster; sons: Earl Prince Jr. of Oakcliff, Timothy (Lucy) Prince of Frankfurt, Germany, Melvin (Konnie) Prince of Victoria, and Richard (Melanie) Prince of Plano; brother: Lonnie (Ethel) Prince of Victoria; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Nell Prince; son Samuel Prince; and sisters: Christine Prince Williams, Leoda Prince Barnes, and Earline Prince Watts. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 6:00 pm with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to be held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor Vernon Garza reciting the eulogy. Pastor Montari Morrison of Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church will be officiating.Full Military Service under the Auspice of Victoria County Veterans Council AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW, MOPH, WS, KWV Burial will follow at Mission Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers: grandson's Samuel Williams and Terrell Lacy, Michael Veliz, Markee Brown, Shad Self, Dominac Gaines, David Williams, and Robert Fumbanks. Honorary Pallbearers: Deacons of Mt.
