Earl's Obituary

Earl Joseph Weber, Sr. of Ft. Myers, Florida. Passed away Monday, March 8th surrounded by family.  Earl was born in Cincinnati where he lived until moving to Ft. Myers.  Earl founded Garden Street Iron & Metal, Inc. in Cincinnati’s West End in 1958.  Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Margaret (Siegel), sons Michael, Stephen, and great-granddaughter Mikayla.  Earl leaves behind daughters: Mary Beth Winters and Lori (Joseph) Selm, sons:  Earl (Nancy) Weber, Cincinnati and Robert (Linda) Weber, Ft. Myers, grandchildren:  Gina (Sol) Lewis, Neil (LauraLeigh) Milofsky, Sarah (Joel) Winters/Dammeyer, Jennifer (Patrick) Casey, Coleman (Cassie) Selm, Katherine (Matthew) Rumpke, Sarah (Thomas) Pitstick, Shawn (David) Siefring, Shannon (Mirko) Schimmelpfennig, Kristen Sanderson, and Alaina (Kenneth III) Weber/Smallwood, great grand-children:  Alan, Adrian, Alyssa, Jaxson, Donovan, Maksim, Flora, Tyler (Karlie), Madeline, Eli, Brett (Brooke), Brandon, Taylor, Logan, Cameron, Jake, and Kenneth IV.

Earl “semi-retired” in 1991 turning the businesses over to his two sons Earl (Ohio) and Robert (Florida) and continued working in the family business until falling ill in his 90th year.  Earl’s interest outside of work included more work 6-7 days a week and maybe a little fishing.  He never applied the “Work Hard Play Hard” philosophy! 

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12th from 10am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, both at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1750 Chase Avenue (45223). Graveside Service will immediately follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road (45238). Facemasks required at all events.
