Easter's Obituary

Easter Trembula, age 78, of Cookstown died Wednesday, July 11 at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. Born in Burbon, Mississippi, she was a resident of Cookstown for over 50 years.Easter was a member of the Cookstown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt.She was predeceased by her husband, Michael T. Trembula and by a son, Daniel W. Trembula. Easter is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry Trembula and Thomas and Robin Trembula all of Cookstown; a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Michael Casey of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Joe Giachelli, Jr.; three grandchildren, Tyler Casey, Brittany Trembula and Richard Trembula and a great grandson, Jake Trembula.Funeral services and burial in Assumption Cemetery in New Egypt will be held privately at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Easter's memory can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 (www.tchospice.org).
