I send my sincerest sympathies to Eckhard's family. At Peoples Gas Company I worked, from time to time, with Eckhard. He was genuinely one of the nicest persons to work with.

Eckhard was my contemporary at The Peoples Gas Light & Coke Company for over 35 years until retirement. He was always pleasant and considerate - an engineer´s engineer who was one of the most knowledgeable in our gas industry from production, pipeline, storage and distribution.
