Love you “uncle” Eddie. I will miss you.

We met you on a Veterans day, how fitting. From there developed a friendship, anytime I saw you it would brighten my day. You always made me feel special. Meeting Jill truly saved your life, you were so sad, seeing you happy and living life to the fullest made Randy and I happy for you. The club will never be the same without you. Eddie's Obituary

Eddie Booker passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 76. Eddie was lucky enough to have two loves of his life, Jill Warrick and his late wife Barbara. Loving brother of Kay (the late Paul) Bittner, Rosalee (the late Jim) Armour, Patricia (Mike) Ensing, Nola (the late Jerry) Green, and the late Trixie Shepherd, James Booker, and Jerry Booker. He was loved by many nieces and nephews and his "bonus son" Brian. 

Eddie was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He loved to talk about it everywhere he went and enjoyed being involved in many charity organizations for veterans. He was post commander of Donovan Post 78 which is one of the longest standing posts in Michigan. He was involved in the honor guard for many years. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Military honors will take place at 6:00 P.M. located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. 

The family suggests donations to either the VFW https://www.vfw.org/ or the Michigan Humane Society https://www.michiganhumane.org/
