Edgar Abdon Barraza, 28 years old from Midland Texas passed on February 17, 2026. He was born in Odessa Texas on July 1, 1997 and raised in Big Spring Texas. He graduated from Lee Highschool 2015 and he served in the United States Navy from2016 to 2020. Edgar married the love of his life, Nadia Sanchez on May 31, 2025 and shared a home with his cat, Piccolo. Edgar was a genuine treat to the world and the people surrounding him.With dark humor, tough love, and an appetite for life he brought everyone together. His favorite thing to do was cook for his loved ones and their loved ones. He is survived by his parents Edgar Barraza SR., Sofia Barraza, sisters Sandy Barraza,Evelin Barraza, and Julissa Barraza. His wonderful wife Nadia Barraza, and her beautiful family. Many cousins, aunties, uncles, and close friends hold and cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his best friend Juanito Barraza (dog).Honorary Pallbearers, Oscar Oliva, Eric Godinez, Mimo, Ivan Navejas, Hernan Vasquez, Daniel Mendoza, George Iglesia, Oscar Barraza, Angel Zubia, Noah Barraza.Evening prayer service viewing will be Monday February 23, at 5PM to 9PM.
