Edgar Jose Munguia, 50 of Patterson passed away on February 15, 2026 at his residence.
Mr. Munguia was born in Redwood City and was a resident of Patterson. He worked as a machinist for over 25 years. Edgar was a family man who enjoyed watching car racing with his son, the 49er football team and classic lowrider cars, he had a 64 Chevy Impala.
Edgar Jose Munguia was survived by his wife Emilcia “Amy” Munguia; son, Dominic Jose Munguia; daughter, Sophia Munguia; mother, Amparo Jimenez of Redwood City; brother, Rafael Munguia, Alberto Munguia, and Milton Munguia, all from Redwood City; sister, Adela Munguia of Redwood City.
A Visitation will be held at 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery.
