I’m so sorry I can’t be there today, but I wanted to take a moment to honor Mr. Tagle. I remember how he used to take us to school every morning—he didn’t say much, but his presence was always calm and kind. He always made me feel welcome in his home and would offer food or snacks whenever I came over to hang out with Liezyl. I really appreciated that kindness—it never went unnoticed.
