Edie Lynn McGlothlin, 59, of Spencer, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
She was born August 16, 1966, at Charleston, the daughter of the late Reba Gale McGlothlin.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Engel McGlothlin; stepfather, William H. H. Carpenter; companion, Slade Nichols.
Edie was a former employee of Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather Keeney (Josh Koon) of Spencer; grandchildren, Nikollaj Ivezaj, Liam Koon and Lyrik Koon; step grandchildren, Jared Koon and Kimberly Huffman, all of Spencer; brothers, Donald McGlothlin and Larry McGlothlin both of Spencer; sister, Nina Elmore of Amma; stepbrother, Larry (Bonnie) Carpenter of Spencer.
Her pastimes included reading and crocheting.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wallback.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
