Margaret and I find words to be inadequate to express our heartfelt condolences to Edna's family for your loss. Our relationship to Edna falls in several categories, but 'Friend' is the one that stands out and endures. She was also a coworker in the military life at Langley AFB. We arrived there in 1981 met Edna at work and a short time later had an extremely distressful event hit our household. Edna's immediate, confident and compassionate grasp of how to help us both was way beyond the call...

I am married to Margy, Clifford’s oldest daughter so I guess that would make her my Stepmother-in-Law. Edna would always ask us about how our kids were doing when we would meet on those family get togethers we enjoyed so much. Largely because of my job I was unable to see that much of Cliff and Edna but she always insisted that I got a plate and I always gave her a call afterwards to thank her for her kindness and to get her recipe.
