Not sure what to say?

Granny was a wonderful woman, and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this difficult time. With love, Dave, Jessica, and Haley Hoover

I grew up from 1st grade through the 11th grade on Louisiana Ave next to the Atkinsons. I remember Mrs Edna fondly. My dad used to say that we could never have had better neighbors than Mrs Edna and Mr Tommy.

To Edna (her Daughter) and her family, I sincerely mourn the loss of your mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and others. I am grateful that you were all such an important part of her life for 99 years. What a blessing that you had her in your lives for so long. May God bless...

Edna I. am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a special lady. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sarah Bonham.

Edna and family,
Mrs. Atkinson was such a dear woman. She and her friends at Sunset Park Baptist Church were so instrumental to me and my faith during my early childhood. She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving, kind woman. I am so glad you had her for such a lengthy time, but I also know how hard it is to lose your mom. May you be comforted by the many years of happy memories she made with family and friends.
Blessings,
Debbie Potter Marlowe

Granny was a wonderful loving lady, i enjoyed our trips to see the grandchildren, we would travel and talk, stop, and look.
I’m so blessed that I had the honor to meet you the woman that my husband called Momma, which for a bit I thought you were because he called his mother Virginia, only to find out the love y’all had between the two of you was a son and mother relationship, you would always say your my number one son, and laugh and say because your my only one.
Thank you for...

Love you Aunt Edna, you will be missed but never forgotten. Tina Mikitis

Edna so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. May God surround you all with comfort and Love
