Sorry just found out about Edna. So,sorry for your loss. Wanted to tell you that she was the sweetest lady I have ever known. Always smiling and such a positive outlook on everything. I had the privilege of knowing her from meadow lane garden club. She will be missed but what a beautiful angel.

Edna Brierton Taliaferro, 97, passed away peacefully Monday, October 20, 2025 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
Graveside services were held Monday, October 27, 2025 at Eastview Memorial Park in Vernon, Texas under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home, Wichita Falls, Texas.
Edna retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1982 after spending 40 plus years as an operator and later working in the business office. After retirement she became a realtor working for Rainwater Real Estate in Vernon and then Pioneer Realty in Burkburnett, Texas. She was a member of the Burkburnett Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Ann McCuen, Susan Shivers and son-in-law, Mike Shivers, Jack Brierton and daughter-in-law, Barbara Brierton, Janna Thompson, Abi Baltz and son-in-law, Leo Baltz; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Flo and Phil Jone Hospice House 1148 E. Matthews Ave, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
