Eduardo DeJesus Diosa, 61, of Wallingford, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the MidState Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn Ruiz Diosa.Born in Colombia, South America, January 7, 1952, a son of the late Roberto and Maria Munoz Diosa, he had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He was employed as a mechanic for Connecticut Transit, in New Haven, for several years and was a member of the Alpha & Omega Church 3rd, in Wallingford. Besides his wife Evelyn, he is survived by his daughter, Natacha Kingston and her husband Brendan of PA; his sons, Alexander Diosa and his wife Natasha of Cheshire, Willie Pagan and his wife Mariliz of Rhode Island, Alex Pagan and his fiancé Jacque Hamel of Wallingford, and Phil Maldonado of Wallingford; his grandchildren, Nathalya, Jordan, Andres, Michael J., Maria, and Scarlett; his sister, Estella Diosa currently visiting from Colombia, his brothers, Hernando Diosa of East Haven, Roberto Diosa, and Jorge Diosa, both of West Haven, 8 brothers and sisters in Colombia, and many nieces and nephews. His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford, Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home with Rev. Zoraida Velazquez, Pastor of the Alpha & Omega 3rd Church of Wallingford officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.
