Edward W. Babb, Jr 78, of Quakertown, PA passed away on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at home with his wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen M (Dougherty) Babb for 50 years. Eddie was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edward W. Sr, and Audrey Louella (Magaha) Babb.A graduate of Abington High School class of 1958. Eddie retired after working for 37 years for PPL primarily in the Bux-Mont Service Center, Telford, PA. A loving husband to Kathy and devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed riding horses, skiing, hunting and fishing. In his later years he enjoyed exploring while riding his motorcycle with his buddies. Eddie was known for his dry sense of humor to his camping friends.In addition to his wife, Kathy, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann Pacella, her husband Joseph and Tracy Lynn McCarthy, her husband Christopher, a son Edward W., III his girlfriend, Lauren Zepp all of Quakertown, PA; five grandchildren, Zachary, Samuel, Sarah, Katie and Max; two brothers, Stephen Babb his wife Lois of Warrington, PA and Richard Babb his wife Kathryn of Quakertown, PA. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12th, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E.
