Janet, Harvey and I are so sorry for your loss. As we read Ed's obituary we thought of Ken Whipkey who would have so appreciated how Ed recounted his life. Ken use to call our social group "the magnificent selves" and Ed proved that in so many ways. God's peace to you as you grieve.

Edward was one of my favorite relatives since I was quite young. I called him Edward for so long that it's hard for me to call him Ed. He wasn't just brilliant, he was funny and kind, and a tease. He was fearless, sometimes reckless and always witty. His wife Janet is equally delightful; kind and intelligent and very sweet.

Janet: I never met your husband; but his obituary surely made me wish I had. ( maybe in another life) I am so very sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences.
