Edward John Bruni, Sr.

Age 77, of Harrisville, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Beloved husband of 44 years of Darlene M. (LeDonne) Bruni; father of Edward John (Melissa) Bruni, Jr., Lisa M. (Alicia) Licata and Richard J. (Victoria) Bruni, Sr.; cherished Poppy of Edward J. III (Michelle), Breanna, Abigail (Aiden), Richard J. Jr., Kayla, James, Anthony, Dylan and Katelyn (NIcholas); Poppy to great-grandchildren Arlee, Alonso, Thiago, Gio, Layla, Shawn, Aleah, Logan, Kamryn, Atreus and Lorenzo; dear brother of Betsy Bruni, the late Theresa (surviving husband Robert) Bethel and William Bruni; son of the late Placido and Lillian (Lubick) Bruni; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his little buddy, Buster.

Edward was a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for 33 years, retiring in 2004. He was a proud Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971 during Vietnam. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ed was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates and Steelers. Services are private
