Edward E. Day, III, 66, of Topeka passed away on Saturday morning, June 2, 2017. He was born in Topeka the son of Edward Day, Jr., and Opal Roberts Day. Ed attended Crane Junior High and graduated from Topeka High School in 1969. He was a carpenter by trade, working in the carpenter’s local union off and on for over 30 years and owning Screw It Construction Company with his brother-in-law Joe Stang for several years.
He was married to Linda Marie Stang on December 26, 1970 in Topeka.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Stang of Topeka; children, John Day of Topeka and Jessica Day of Topeka; grandchildren, Trever Day of Wichita and Shane Day of Topeka; brother, David A. of Topeka; and his sisters, Linda Susan Day of Topeka.
Cremation is planned. There is no memorial service planned. If you would like to leave the family a message, please do so at the website.
