Edward Kexel

Edward E. Kexel, Sr 81 of Gloversville, NY formerly of Groton, passed away on February 18, 2026 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. Edward was born in Niskayuna, NY on July 5, 1944 the son of John and Anna McGuire Kexel. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.He then worked at Electric Boat Company in Groton as an outside machinist.
Ed was married to Dianne Morton on June 11, 1966 at Sacred Heat Church, in Groton and she survives him.
Besides Dianne he is survived by his sons, Robert Kexel of New London, Edward Kexel, Jr. and his daughter Tina Bright both of Texas.Ed is also survived by his sisters, Bernice Paterno and Laurie Putty six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by his son, John Kexel his brothers, Dennis and John Kexel, Jr and his sister Theresa Fuller.
