Of Chelsea, on April 27. Beloved husband of the late Caroline T. (Kupczewski) Mendalka. Devoted father of John Mendalka and his wife Cathy of Revere, Karen Hoerrner and her husband Mark of Chatham, NJ and the late William “Billy” Mendalka. Cherished grandfather of Ingrid, Caroline and Philip Hoerrner and Kaitlin Mendalka. Dear brother of Blanche Miller of Chelsea and the late Helen Troisi and step-brother of the late Edward Carpovich and Eleanor Slotkowski.

ARRANGEMENTS:  Funeral from the Frank A. Welsh & Sons Funeral Home 718 Broadway CHELSEA on Saturday May 4th at 10:00 A.M. Followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Grace Church 59 Nichols St. Chelsea at 11:00 A.M. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Welsh Funeral Home on Friday from 4 - 8 P.M. Funeral home fully handicap accessible, ample parking opposite funeral home.
