I first met "Manzanas " in High School .He was a likable guy and always smiling and fun to be around with. I will never forget him and those fun times.
I met Grace when she worked in some of the stores in Douglas in particular Vernon's clothing store.
Every time I would go to Vernon's to buy clothes I always had fun conversations with Grace and a lot of laughing.

Edward Muñoz, 84, of Pirtleville, AZ, was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 1, 2025.
Memorial Services will be held in Douglas on October 18, 2025. Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church. Burial will follow at Pirtleville, Cemetary
Edward was born October 13, 1940, to Augustine and Juvencia Muñoz in Pirtleville, AZ. He had 9 siblings and was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
In 1960, Edward graduated from Douglas High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served overseas until 1963. When he returned, he met the love of his life Grace Muñoz (Haro) and married in January 1966 and began their family together. In 1965, he began his career with Phelps Dodge Corporation and retired in 2000.
Edward was an amazing husband, father and friend and enjoyed being a family man. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed camping with his family and friends and hunting with his sons and grandchildren.
Edward lived his life with integrity, devotion, and love for his family. His legacy will forever be cherished by his beloved family and friends.
Edward is survived by his loving wife Grace of 59 years, and their 4-children, Eddie, David, (Selina) Michael and Christopher (Sarah), 6-Grandchildren, and 4-Great Grandchildren.
