Edward's Obituary

It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to Ed. Ed is survived by his wife Elaine, son Jeff, and sister Laurel (Dennis) Bent. He was also survived by his estranged children, Kimberly and Troy and their families.

Ed went through many medical challenges in his lifetime so that he would have more time with his family and friends. Ed put up a great battle, but in the end he had no fight left.

Ed was born in Portage La Prairie to Katherine and John Park. He left Manitoba as a young man, and lived for a short time in Alberta before moving on to Saskatchewan. His plan was to get a short term job and move on. But, fate took over when Ed met the love of his life, Elaine. They were married and had one great son, Jeff. They lived in Regina until they moved to Good Spirit Acres. Ed loved living at Good Spirit, in the home we built and loved where we made many great lifetime freinds. Besides his family, Ed’s biggest passion was golfing. We lived right on a golf course where he played 18 – 36 holes of golf every day until he could no longer swing a club. He still liked to watch the golfers pass by and he always had a comment about their shots into the green. One of his other passions was watching football.Even after living in Saskatchewan for so long, he remained a Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan to the end. Go Bombers!

Ed had a deep love for Elaine and Jeff. Ed went through many medical challenges in his lifetime so that he would have more time with his family and friends. Ed put up a great battle, but in the end he had no fight left.

Ed will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. His memory will stay with us forever.
