Dear Helen,
35 years ago I moved to the Lansing area with my two sons, and became a Parishioner at IHM. It wasn’t long that we started chatting after Mass..we all sat on the right side!..and would go for coffee and donuts after 9:30 Mass.
Both of you were so welcoming, accepting, and kind to us and I’ve never forgotten you.

I met Edward in 2010 when I started to work at the Diocese of Lansing. Edward was a volunteer for the restoration justice program. Edward was a holy person. When my dad was sick in 2013 Edward would come to his house and pray for him and our family. May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Edward will be missed.
