Edward's Obituary
Edward Valdez Sr., born August 27, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2025, at the age of 86. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emeterio and Felipa Valdez; son, Steven Valdez Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years of marriage, Hortencia D. Valdez; sons, Edward Valdez Jr. and wife Sandy Valdez, George Valdez and wife Aurora Valdez, Rene Valdez; grandchildren, Roxy Valdez, Rene Valdez, Julianna Valdez, Faith Rodriguez , George Adam Valdez, Eddie Valdez, Steven Valdez Jr., Corey Valdez, Christopher Valdez, Courtney Valdez, Alex Valdez and Felicia Valdez; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jazlynn, Rene Alias, Xander, Alma, Jesse, Mikey, Dean and Samuel; extended family and friends. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM rosary at Hillcrest Funeral Home. The family will honor his wish for cremation.
