Not sure what to say?

Eddie was always a friend. So sorry to read of his passing, but I know he is with the Lord. We'll be seeing him soon.

I just found out today that you went home to Heaven. Ed, thank you for your prayers, genuine concern & friendship during a challenging time in my life. I only wish I told you of the difference you made for me. Enjoyed the visit & laughs in Monticello this past June. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know you had a very close family. I have many wonder memories of seeing Henrietta and Debbie at the Grammar School, and Ed always supporting WCGS functions. He served faithfully on our school board, and always had a warm smile. May you find great comfort in the fact that you will be reunited with Jesus.

Sending our condolences and thanking God for Ed's lifelong service to Him.
Love and prayers

Attended Wheaton Academy with Ed and kept up with him through the years. One of the finest Christian individuals I have ever known. So looking forward to seeing him again and spending time with him in eternity. Prayers for the family.

I was one of Ed's friends at Wheaton Academy. I only went there one year, but we hit it off. I lost touch but am so sorry to hear of his passing, but I praise God that he had a strong faith and is now in heaven. My deepest sympathy to Debbie and his family in this loss.

I had the privilege of working with Ed in Boys Brigade and various expansion/building committees at College Church. Ed’s clear thinking and cheerful comradery made even the toughest tasks enjoyable. I became acutely aware of his exceptional ability to strategize at one Boy’s Brigade campout, where even though I had managed to pick all the best athletes for a nighttime capture the flag sort of event, Ed’s squad would consistently outfox us and pulled off the unexpected win. I knew I was in the...

Through my 17 years with Outreach, I had many dealings with Ed and his dear Mom, Henrietta. He was an integral part in the construction of the Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream, which started when I joined the ministry. And in the succeeding years, his generosity to Outreach was outstanding. On several occasions when interacting with his Mom, she would defer to Ed to "handle it", with grace. Our deepest sympathy and blessings of peace go out to Debbie and the family.

We had the privileges' of meeting Ed a couple of times in regards to the van der Molen family tree we were working on. We send our condolences to the family. May the Lord comfort and sustain you all.
